National Eligibility Entrance Test Undergraduate conducted for undergraduates for admission for Medical, BDS(Dental) and AYUSH by National Testing Agency(NTA).

Is it mandatory to attempt in order to pursue MBBS or BDS or Ayush?

Yes, for both in India and Aboard.

What is pattern for its conduction and How does it look like?

1.Once in year

2.Offline exam

3.Multiple choice questions.

4.For 720 marks

5.3 hours duration

6.Marking scheme

(+4 for right option and -1 for wrong option)

7.Subjects:Physics,Chemistry,Botany and Zoology each 45 questions.

So,it is considered NEET UG is one of toughest exam in India and we need a strong preparation in order to crack.

As I mentioned before we are indeed blessed to learn conveniently.There are few apps which provide really good stuff for revision and you become a member of a community of people who are also preparing for NEET as you are.To mention few Gradeup,Unacademy ,Aakash iTutor etc.Use apps to improve your NEET preparation.

4.Practice previous year question papers

Solving previous papers will really help you to figure out what kind of questions might appear in exam.Some questions merely from important topics.It will boost your confidence and you will know your strengths,strategies which you can apply during exams.

5.Pick most important topics for revision

For the last few days to prepare you cannot learn new things for exam it is would cause panic.So,you need to find which topics are so important that might come in exams.This would give you some confidence that you are revising on right track.

6.Selection of books

 

Many students buy so many books for just one subject and at last they remain confused  where they need to study from.It is really better to just focus on one kind of books that is NCERT and practice tests.That will keep you going.

7.Strategy to attempt questions

This tip should really be helpful for you.You have 45 questions each from 4 subjects that makes 180 questions in total.So,you need to know which subject you are really good at;You are capable of solving questions from subject you are really good at.Many students suggest that Biology part is easy so they attempt that first but it depends on you.You need to attempt and get correct answers as much as you can because you try to answer particular questions which you are not sure of,that brings negative to your score.
